According to info I received last night from Mark Williamson, Dr. Smith &
wife
are buried in Dowell's Chapel (formerly known as Battle Axe) Cemetery, near
Tuckerman, in Jackson County. The following is their tombstone information:

Smith, Janettie T. (September 10, 1876- September 7, 1928)
Smith, Dr. Sol W. (February 19, 1865- September 21, 1928)

The first website is a listing for Dowell Cemetery, Sol and Nettie are
buried in part
2 of the cemetery, north of the access road, in row 8.

The second website lists death notices from the Tuckerman newspaper, it
lists her
as "Janet" and says her place of death was Tuckerman. It lists his place of
death
as Melbourne, so they must have taken him back to be buried beside his wife.
