Joyce:

Dr. Jeff Smith married Nettie Elizabeth Ashley, so two of the brothers
married
Netties. Nettie Tucker married Dr. Sol on 7 December 1902, the story is that
her
parents died before she married leaving her with 3 younger brothers and
sisters
to care for. When Dr. Sol asked for her hand, she told him she had to care
for her
siblings, so he promised that they would take them in and raise them, and so
they
did. He carried on his practice in Jackson County, near Newport I believe,
so they
probably are in that county's census in 1910 and 1920. Janet tells me they
died
within 2 weeks of each other and I have him as dying 21 September 1928.
Janet's
mother Faye was still young at the time and went to live with Nettie's
sister. I don't
know where they are buried...........................harold b
