Hi Joyce,
Thank you very much. This is what we needed. The copy of the 1900
census that we had was not clear and your copy clears up several
questions. Knowing how many children Susan had helps us in our search,
also the names of two of the children.
After comparing the marriage record of W. B. Reasons 19 (b. 1874) m.13
Aug 1893 Ellen Sigler 16 (b. 1877) to the Mt. Calm Cem. record
Reasons, N.B. 1874 - 1940 (plot M23)
Reasons, Ellen 1876 - 1937 (plot M22)
Grisso, Susan 1844 - 1926 (plot M24)
The balance of the Reasons are all grouped together and may be children
of N.B., but all are likely related.
Put together with the 1900 census of Napeleon Reasons and wife Ellen, we
think this is all one and the same: W.B. Reasons, N.B. Reasons and
Napeleon Reasons.
Could you give me the 1910 Fulton Census of Napoleon Reasons, also Wm.
and Susan Grisso? Was Susan's mother still living with her? Matilda
Marriott was said to have lived more than 100, but we have no death date.
From the 1900 census, Columbus D. M.Reasons is probably the same as
Drew Reasons 30 m. 1 Dec 1910 to Dicie Guffee 20.
Listed in Hurst Cem.
Reasons Drew C. (Husb of Dicey Ann) 1880 - 1956 (K4)
Reasons, Dicey Ann (wife of Drew C.) 1890 - 1973 (K5)
Reasons, Hettie May 1, 1914 - Oct 28, 1933 (K3)
Reasons, Willie C. (son of Drew & Dicey) USA WWII Jan 8, 1923 - Aug
19-1962 (K6)
After seeing the 1900 census of Napeleon's family, it is my guess that
John W. b. Jun 1894 is the same (marriage record from Vera) as J. W. 25
(1894) m. 24 Dec 1919 Lula Brown 19. Also Henry E. b. Jul 1896 is
Everett 24 (1897) who m. 30 Oct 1921 Lillie Green.
The problem of J. M. Chadwick (grandson of Matilda Marriott) is still
unknown. Perhaps if we could get a 1870 census this would solve this
and is a problem for tomorrow.
Thanks so much to you Joyce, and also Vera. You are always willing to
help, and it is much appreciated.
