The Marchant Lumber company has not been in the family a long
time. Harmon Keeter owned it before, I believe he was married to Connis
Huddleston. Lowell B. Marchant bought the business less than 20 years
ago.
Lowell Bruce Marchant Sr. currently owns the building, he is the
son of "Jack" Aaron Homer Marchant, the son of Rufus Wiley Marchant, the
son of Richard Edward Marchant, The son of William Bailey Marchant, the son
of James Marchant.
