Joyce,
In 1860 , Franklin the Town was in Fulton Co. IT remained until 1874 and
then was put back in Izard Co.
The line was about 1 mile south of Franklin. So in 1900 I think the
postoffice for Franklin township would be back to Franklin,
I can't think where Big Springs is.
In 1860 the Franklin township went down to Lacrosse and beyond and I think
over to Sharp Co.
