Davidson artice in the Calico Rock Progress dated May 5, 1922 (to make it short) The murder was near the mouth of the Buffalo River in Baxter County (that would make it on the side of Baxter that Marion County is on) Davidson was shot from ambush while plowing in his field and died an hour later Davidson came to that vicinity only a short time ago and bought a small tract of land between the White and Buffalo Rivers. He leaves a wife. The following week there is news of two men being arrested. If you want more on this I will scan and sent . Vera
