Hi guys

I recall SuziQ and I discussing her Marchants and the Annie Marchants in
particular. If I have this all right, there are two different Annie
Marchants. One that married the Richardson and one that married Jeffery -
but they are not the same Annie.

At least I think so.

Izard County Marrige Record Book No. 1 (1889-1899).
RICHARDSON, GEORGE W. 24 Melbourne Izard to MARCHANT, ANNIE 20 Melbourne
Izard on August 24, 1890. By J. S. Bone, Minister of the Gospel of the C.
P. Church; Sec. J. A. Radford.

Marriage record: Izard Co., Arkansas, Book 2 1893-1898, Page 77. AMBROSE
JEFFERY, age 38 of Jumbo and ANNA MARCHANT, age 21 of Calico Rock, on June
07, 1894, by A. J. Whaley Sec. J. A. Harris.

Note that the Jeffery marriage has this Annie as a Marchant and not as an
Annie Richardson. Meaning a second marriage. Follow me?

The Annie that married the Richardson is Lucy Ann Minerva "Annie" Marchant
(1869-1946) that was a daughter of William "Bailey" Marchant, Jr. and Lucy
Ann Arnold.

The Annie that married Jeffery is Mary Anna "Annie" Marchant (1869-1945) and
the daughter of Silas Aaron Marchant, Sr. and Josephine G. Smith.

Now, I think that I'm right on this - but, if SuziQ sees this, she will be
able to tell us for sure.
