I have some warm thank yous (beginning of e-mail) and a question (end of e-mail).

I want to thank Stephanie for bringing up the 27th; Barbara for her search
for Crutchfields; Bob, Vera, and Fern for providing the web URL below; Wilma
and Pattie for the interesting information, and Vera for her offers to do
lookups - and Eula, Bernie, and Jeri (I hope I didn't leave anyone out :))!

All of the earlier e-mails about the 27th made me
curious enough to go to the list and look it over. I may have found some
leads I can check out on my Capps, Odle, and Montgomery ancestors.
I'm hoping that if I cross check the Capps, Odle, and
Montgomery names that are in the 27th list with as many records as I can, it
might help me find the names of the parents of Mary A. Odle Bates (b. 1825),
the parents of Leona Bernice Montgomery Boler (1853), and the first name
and parents of my Capps great grandmother (wife of W. M. Roden).

I'll also see if the other Civil War lists contain these names, so I can do the same with
them. Maybe eventually I find these folks. Thanks again.

Does anyone know of any sites that list American Revolution rosters or that
list names of people taken prisoner during the American Revolution
conflicts?
