I can't say for sure; I have never been able to find the connection.

Drucilla TOWNSEND also happens to be a relative of mine but from my father's
side of the family. Her grandparents, Ragland Merritt and Dicey LANGSTON,
are my 5G grandparents. Her first husband is listed in "History of Greene
Co., Missouri" by R. I. Holcombe. An interactive search of this text can be

Now that my curiosity is piqued, I will look a little closer. I'll let you
know if I find anything new.
