I'm stymied on the ancestries of the following persons who were md.
in Izard Co. on 21 Jul 1895:

George Walter THOMPSON, b. Jun 1872 in TN (according to the 1910
Census of Guion Twp., Izard Co., AR (both parents b. TN)

and

Nancy ("Nannie") STROUD, b. Aug 1876 in AR per the 1910 Census (both
parents b. in AR)

Nancy (STROUD) THOMPSON d. 31 Aug 1927 and is buried in the Lyon's
Creek Cemetery not far from Guion. A William THOMPSON is also buried
in the same cemetery. Is he related to Nancy's husband, George?????

Nancy's husband, George W. THOMPSON, is said to have md. 2) Miram
CHILDERS and moved to Poinsette Co., AR.

I can find only one STROUD with a dau. Nancy in the 1880 Soundex of
Izard Co. and he is in Lunenburg Twp. as follows. Can this be the
parents of Nancy? If so, there is a discrepancy in her birthdate.

Jno. STROUD, age 28, b. AR
Mary STROUD, age 26, b. AR (wife)
Emma STROUD, age 5, b. AR (dau.)
Wm. STROUD, age 4, b. AR (son)
Nancy STROUD, age 2, b. AR (dau.)
Minne STROUD, age 3/12, b. AR (dau.)

I could not find this family in the 1900 Census, but did find a
John T. STROUD (age 45) with wife Mary (age 45) in Lunenburg Twp.,
Izard Co. there with children ages 8 yrs. to 22. This John is said
to have md. Mary ARNOLD. Could this be the same family and our
Nancy's parents and siblings???? The children in the 1880 Census
could have been grown and married between 1880 and 1900.
