If you ever saw those marriage books you would understand why people had a
hard time reading them. They were just hand written notes with several on a
page. What wasn't burned was water damaged. Water didn't do that old ink
they used back then any good.

Didn't see a Renfrow / Renfroe in the 1870 index to Izard or Marion County.
