These are all interesting and have been trying to browse through all your
posted work in between chores today. I have some notes on the various
census records for Nancy Bratton Tilley, who by the way, was widowed in
1864, when her husband John Columbus Tilley died (Civil War?).

For some odd reason I have another marriage for her and just not sure that
it is correct and looks more like I have made a mistake in transferring from
Jeri Ritter's work that she sent me. If it is indeed incorrect.

But, the other marriage, just in case you all have anything on this
gentleman is: William Henry "Grancer" Tilley (1808-1896) and I show a
marriage date of October 18, 1876. He is not in the household in the 1880
census. Divorced? Not sure how he would have been connected to her first
husband either.

I do show other marriages for Grancer Tilley. First to a Lucinda Arnold
(1809-1866) in 1827 and secondly to Catherine "Katie" Lawrence ( 1832-1876)
in 1866. There was issue from each marriage, if anyone is interested.

1910 Stone Co., Arkansas census:
TILLEY, Nancy 1830 wd children 9/5 living TN
#85 Ruby 1892 AR daughter (granddaughter?)

Note to the 1910 census transcription: The Ruby shown with Nancy Tilley has
to be a granddaughter. Maybe a daughter of son; Samuel and wife; Isabel? I
am puzzled by the enumeration that she has given birth to nine children and
five are living in this 1910 census.

Anyone have a list of her children? I only show seven and in
1910.........five of the seven that I have listed were living.
