Somewhere in my recent notes there was a descendant and researcher that said
that this Phoebe died during childbirth, with her first child.
I'll see if I can find those notes and email the person. I don't recall who
they said Phoebe (if she even did) was married to, though. Okay, let's
assume that she was married.......
Barbara Allen doesn't exclude Phoebe from matrimony in a biography of hers:
"The three girls lived with their grandmother until they married."
If this is true, then she would have "probably" died in the years between
the 1850 and 1860 census.
I'll see what I can unearth.
