Hi Sharron and Vera,
Here are just a few of the names I have been working on for the past 10 years:
Charles - born 1762 in Prince William County, Virginia (and his family, have
a lot of information on him except his mothers name)
Old Reynolds that I have right now is Calvin Reynolds - he was born about
1800 in Virginia and died 13 September 1852 in Fackler, Jackson County,
Alabama. Calvin married Millie Spears in August 1823 in Bedford County,
Tennessee. Millie is the daughter of Samuel Spears who was born on 11 May
1760 in Albermarle County, Virginia and died 01 June 1827 in Chapel Hill,
Bedford County, Tennessee. Samuel married Sally Ann Dudley who was born 24
November 1763 in Virginia and died in Carroll County, Arkansas.
As for the Nichols...oh my..I have tons of them since that is my mother's
line and they are a hard bunch to put together...but here are just a few
names: William Martin (or Martin William) Nichols born 20 September 1837 in
Marion County, Tennessee; John "Old John" Nichols born 01 April 1802 in
Marion County, Tennessee; Uriah Nichols born 1817 in Tennessee; James J.
Nichols born 11 January 1805 in Tennessee; Thomas F. Nichols born 11 April
1809 in Believe, Marion County, Tennessee...just to name a few.
As for the Hale's...another hard bunch to track down (for me anyways)...my
oldest comfirmed Hale that I can locate in my direct line is: William Hale
who was born between 1750 to 1760 in Virginia and had a son Edward Mercer
Hale (who was my 3rd great grandfather) he was born 29 May 1806 in Virginia
and is said to have first married his cousin (uncomfirmed at this point)
Priscilla "Prissy" Hale who was born 02 July 1799 in Virginia and died about
1837 in Searcy County, Arkansas. Edward Mercer Hale then married my 3rd
great grandmother Susan Robertson who was born 12 December 1813 in Union
County, Illinois and died 29 December 1898 in Newton County, Arkansas.
Ok, I think I've overloaded you enough...thanks for any help that you can
