From the 1850 census, it certainly appears to be the case. I will make
the change in my records. I appreciate your pointing that out to me. :)

By the way, I sent off a message a couple of weeks back on the list,
mentioning my trip with my daughter to the Chief Joseph Vann House in
Chattsworth, GA. Did you ever see that message? I can't find a reply from
you (perhaps it's just lost in my mess, if you did). I found the little
book that I purchased interesting, because it is a collection of letters
between the gr-grandaughter of Chief Joseph Vann and a couple of people
connected to the Vann House through historical interest.

Any way, the gr-granddaughter's name was Ermina Vann Campbell. She lived
in AZ until her death (Green Valley).

Is she familiar to you?
