Jim,
I had William H. Blount at first too, I don't remember who the information
came from , but after being in contact with two of the Blount descendants,
they both agree on the name, Blassingame Harvey Blount, but say his son
Thomas was at times called William, so at some point in time he may have had
three first names and used them at different times. Some information I
guess we will never be certain of.
