Just a quick note on the wives of Eng Denton, per Vera earlier this year.
This must have been when we were dicussing this family with Lew
Roberts.......is he still on the List?

There is a large article about the death of S. E. (English) Denton in the
Baxter Bulletin dated Aug 18, 1933. He was b. Jun 21, 1853 in Cleveland,
Bradley County, TN s/o Rebecca E. & Rev William Denton. Moved to Marion
County Apr 1861. In 1870 his father homesteaded the Denton Ferry Farm. In
1872 Denton Ferry was put in. Formed a partnership with P. A. Cox in 1877.
On and on it goes about his joining this and that. He married Dec 8, 1878
Georgia Wilkie who died Mar 2, 1879. he married Dora Wilkie on Nov 2, 1880.
Gives a list of their five children and who they married. He was elected
Justice of the Peace in 1900 and admitted to the bar in 1914 was Missouri
Pacific attorney for 18 years. He died Thursday.
