Hello Jean,
No, unfortunately I do not have a Rev. Wilson Andrew Brown in my
genealogy YET! haha But I only have my Brown Genealogy back to a
Porter Wine Brown born in 1841 and we think he was born in Luoisiana.
I do not have his parents names or any sibling names. But I am STILL
serarching. I do know Porter Wine had a wife named Malinda Jane Friend
and I have all the children and so forth. But I JUST RECENTLY found
out that Malinda's dad (Alexander Friend) is listed on the 1830 census
records of Izard County. I'm told it is listed in the Arkansas Census
Index, Tax Index, on page 2 for Arkansas Territory, Izard County,
Arkansas. So now i am trying to figure out if Malinda was with her dad
during this time or not. Just maybe Porter Wine met Malinda at Calico
Rock?????? If so, then MAYBE he does have other kin from there too.
HA! I've got a lot of Maybe's don't I. I have not seen this census
record yet to see if it lists any children of Alexander Friend yet. Do
you know if this record is on the internet by any chance?
Thanks so much for your help. I am so glad I found this website!
