I surely didn't mean that anyone should feel shackled from sharing Veteran
stories, because they were not sons or husbands. Guess I didn't realize
that it would get down to technicalities!
Thank you, Juanita, for your story of your uncle. A sad thing, to have
lost him in the War.
Like you, I have no clue as to why France doesn't like us. I wonder, as you
do, whether the sacrifice was appreciated by anyone in that country, or is
the attitude a present-day one?
