Jean,
Now that would be an obvious question to ask and one I posed to him long
ago. This person is a co-worker in a position of upper management and he is
evasive and eludes me when asking about our ancestors. I know that his
Langstons are from the same area as ours in Izard/Independence Counties. He
may think that I will be expecting special treatment if I make some
connection. But that's not my intention at all. So if he is not willing to
provide information, I thought I might seek it from the List. Hope it has
made other Langston researchers curious too and will yield some clues.
