ct, I dont have the 1880, but in the Independence Ct 1860 census Union Twp
#382/371 there is a William W. BARKSTALL 63 fmr Ga.
Peary T. 43 f Al.
Theodric B. CAMPBELL 27 fmr Tn.
Catherine D. " 26 Tn (wife?)
Martha W. BARKSTALL 19 Tn.
James " 17 Tn
William " 10 TN
William EZELL 22 fmr Tn

In the Arkansas Land Patents : Vol AR0730.279, Land Ofc Batesville,
01-May-60, Doc #15225, Cash Entry: Part #1: S NW, Sec 27, Twp 15N, R8W, Part
#2 N SW, Sec 27, Twp 15 N, R8W, 160.000 acres. (60 acres).

This land is located just a bit north of Lafferty, in Izard Ct. In Feb
1897, James T. BARKSDALE has a land purchase in Sec 27 Twp 15 N, R8W 40
acres.
