Bernie,
I will have to get back to you on the history of and who owns the hotel. I
think someone out of state owns it but am not sure. When you come in June if
you have time we will plan a day of looking around Mt Olive. I will get
Rosemary and our cousin Noel to go with us. Noel is our official tour guide.
He was raised there and knows some wonderful stories.
The old hotel is almost gone now. People have come in and took lumber from
it. If you have Dale Hanks book "Jeffery Pioneers In The Ozarks" there is a
picture of the old hotel in the back. This would be a book you would enjoy
if you don't have it. his email address is.
I will get more information on the hotel and send to you. Hope to see you in
June.

Hi Elvada
Tell me,
Who owns this old Jeffery Hotel now? What's the history on it, if you don't
mind me asking?
