Benjamin Franklin Pinkston b. 1876 d. 1964 in AR buried in the buried in the
Oxford Cemetery, Izard County. His father was Stephen Taylor Pinkston b.
1848 in Tishomingo, MS d. 1935 in OK. Ben's grandfather was Zachariah
Pinkston b. abt 1810 NC was not listed in the 1880 census.

Zach was the father of at least 12 children, all but the last two were born
in TN. The last two in MS. There were several that moved to the area of
Sharp, Izard, Independece and what later became Baxter. I think you will
find some of them if not all were there before the Civil War broke out. We
know Zach was in Independence County by 1866 because he got married again.
