All I have are family stories about him and his owning land in Norfork. I
was told he gave the land for the Norfork Cemetery. His obituary says he was
born Aug 18, 1872 and came to Ark when a young man. He was president of the
Citizens Bank of Norfork during it's operation and in the mercantile
business in Norfork for a number of years. He wasn't here in 1880, I didn't
pay any attention to the 1900 because he didn't marry into the Payne family
until 1906. In 1910 his mother-in-law, Dolly Payne and at least one of her
other children were living with him.
