Notice To Everyone:
Yes, It can happen...It did to me . Thursday of last week My e mail
account went down. I got a notice from the web master
the problem was not in my computer but with their equipment. They finally
restored it Friday, but everything wipped out...zero/zilch nothing left
messages, addresses, folders, etc. I then tried sending messages to another
e-mail account I had and it went out, but when I tried to send one in from
that account it would not come in. I then wrote the web master, with a very
few words explaining my disgust with their e-mail service. Finally Monday
morning everything was back where it was suppose to be.
I just went to one of my folders for a piece of Valuable Genealogical
material I had saved,,,,,and.......you guessed it. All Gone, Wiped
out...All Folders again.
I have just about had it with hotmail e-mail. Not only did I have
valuable genealogical materials in these folders, I also had folders with
other important documents stored in them as well...
So, If you have something you think is safe in your e-mail files,,,better
think again. Definitely so if it is in hotmail.
