Hi Sharron,

We've been there before haven't we? LOL

I don't have any official papers with Thomas Hays daughter but I DO
have them for my India Anna. My mother has looked at the papers and
she says that it is "Indy's" handwriting. The SAME writing is on
Nathan's application for pension and it was written 10 years earlier.
India Anna probably did ALL his paperwork. His writing is decidely
different.

Sooooo.....I am going to call her India Anna.... In one of the Census
records, they have her listed as Julia N. If you write India M OVER
Julia N.....it was a transcription error. "Indy's" I's (the letter
I looks like a letter J). It's the same on her application for
widows pension....looks like a J.............
