Evalyn,
I was going thru my Hays information Sunday and on the bottom of James B.
Hays family sheet listed his brothers as Henry, John, William A. Abner,
Thomas, Edmund D..
Now, I know of Henry (my GGGGGreat Grandfather), James B., Thomas, and Edmund.
I was looking at a copy from a book of Tenn. Newspaper Clipping that listed a
John Hays as a Eldest son of Charles Hays Esq. died in Davidson Co. on St. 30
May. Nashville Whig ( Mon., June 1, 1840) Now I think that this is a brother
of James, Henry, Thomas and Edmund. But, there you go again, there is NO
record to connected them only by the . It all so listed a Elizabaeth Hays as
the wife of John Hays died in Huntsville, Ala on June 27, 1828 ;and another
wife of John Haysa Martha who died July 11, 1837
There is a William Hays and a William P. Hays all so listed in the copy.
Now, I'll have to go back to the Library and try and find the book, that I
made the copy from. Maybe there is other information. that I miss a long time
ago.
There is all so a Lewis Hays listed in the land record of Izard Co., Ark. in
1861,1853
Can anyone look up the Hays for 1860 in Izard co., Newburg, and Melbourne,
Ark township and Mill Creek.
Charles Lewis Hays sometime went by Lewis , some one wrote me, one time.
This maybe my Lewis Hays, I haven't find a death for him in the Cemetery book
either.
Since there is another Abner Hays, I need to look for an older Abner beside
the one I have.
according to the 1830 Census book, Charles and Anna had to daughter too.
don't know who they are.
still looking for them.
