Have any of the Hively researchers identified the "son-in-law named Scott"
named below? I checked the 1850 Union Twp. Izard census and found this
507/510 SCOTT, I. B. 44 fmr KY
Nancy 35 AR
Samuel 17 AR
Susan 15 AR
Jane 13 AR
Mary 11 AR
Angeline 6 AR
Nancy 4 AR
George 7/12 AR
ELLIS, Richard 21 fm lbr AL
of A. C. Jeffery's columns appearing in The Melbourne Clipper in 1877, we
found the following account.
''Hively had two boys of good size, whose names were George and John, and
..a son-in-law named Scott."
Do you suppose this might be Nancy Hively, first born child of Daniel?
