Hi Bill and Jason,

I'm impressed by your "art of deduction"! Wish I could do that.

Nathan Hamby Melton states on his Application for Pension that he doesn't
have any record of his October 14, 1888 marriage to India Anna Hays Morris
because "the courthouse burned". So the burning of the courthouse would
have to be AFTER 1888. The 1890 Census Record doesn't exist for Izard for
that year either. Wasn't that also because the courthouse burned. Correct
me if I'm wrong about the 1890 Census...somebody?
