Hi Jean
I am not sure, try sending me the GEDCOM and I will see what it looks like
on my computer, The problem may be on the other end, the email program may be
making it a txt file as thats really what a gedcom is, they may have attachments
to be added to the email ( opened at same time) I have had a couple of people
send me gedcoms which came in as txt files and you have to save it ,take the header
off it and then rename to .ged, we should have the instructions to do it in the
archives.
