No, I think you are speaking for many families, and you are blessed to have
a grandson who cares and wants to preserve the heritage. He's one of the
wise ones! I have designated my oldest son to be the keep of records,
once I am gone. He's always liked knowing about his heritage, and the more
so as he has gotten older. If it were up to the remaining two of my
"kids", the history would be lost really quickly, I fear!
That's a good reason for those of us to share a copy of our lines with the
counties in which we have researched (that is, if there are genealogy
societies in the county who will take the stuff!).
Any thoughts on that one Regina Weaver?
