You guys are GREAT! I rec'd several replies to my request for FTM help.

Donna's was the first I rec'd so I tried it.....it works for a temporary fix
(Suzi suggested the same quick fix and also told us WHY it happens...which
is something I wondered) but I knew I needed to try Paul's for a permanent
fix.

It worked!

Charlotte even sent the URL where she found the fix but her suggestion
wouldn't work because the computer wouldn't let me simply reinstall the
program - I had to ensure that the .dll (in this case, ole2nls.dll) file was
filed with the rest of the program as Paul suggested. But I'll certainly
keep the URL for any other problems I encounter.

Betty Boop sent step-by-step instructions - which is the kind of help I
need.....I didn't understand why it would be necessary to change, reset or
create shortcut to Regional Settings, mind you, but I appreciated the help
none the less! <g>
