I called FTM tech support, as this problem annoyed me. (I have had FTM
since version 2.0 and now have 7.5)
The tech help man was very nice and explained to me that the problem is in
Microsoft Office, either Outlook Express or Outlook. Something about the
year 2000 fix in Outlook corrupts that OLE file, and if you open FTM first
it doesnt affect FTM. So if you dont want to run that Regional Setting
thing, just reboot your computer and open FTM before you open
Outlook/Outlook Express.
There you have it...
