I have an article taken from this Izard Co. Historian below and wonder if anyone can tell me anything about a Taylor /Herron/Finley connection or anything about this Samuel Thomas Taylor.
This article is dated, written, July 1941, transcribed in 1976 and published in 1989 in this issue of the Izard Historian.
Or for anyone who can accept a scanned image direct to their email, I will send the information, I have it, but can't figure out how to get it over to plain text to put across the list!
The article mentions : Isaac Finley b. March 25, 1800, d. July 27, 1863 and wife Hiley L. Finley b. June 24, 1804, d., Jan. 27, 1873. A William Norris Finley, an uncle Hiram Langston Finley, an uncle Frank Finley who died somewhere in Oregon
And a Sarah Finley who married a George Brinsfield( I would like to determine the relationship of this George to Rev. George Brinsfield? A son or grandson, maybe?
Also my great grandmother Sarah Taylor Fountain Brinsfield had a sister that was said to have married a Herron, I would like to learn if this Taylor/Finley/Heron/Brinsfield's in this article might connect up to my great grandmother's sister.
I don't know the first name of Sarah Taylor Fountain's sister , only that she was supposed to have married a Herron around Izard Co. Ar.
