Yes, Ab Jr, father of Eli Barton Langston, was the son of
Ab Sr and Dorcus Young LANGSTON, Ab Sr son of Caleb
and Elizabeth ? Langston, Caleb, son of Absolom and
Christian Bennett LANGSTON, son of John lll and
Agnes Mangham LANGSTON. etc

Ab Sr bn ca 1786 SC d: fall 1861 Izard Co Ar
married Dorcas Young 28 May 1809 Christian Co Ky
Dorcas bn ca 1787 d: after 1865 (according to Sam's journal
she died just after the war.)

I have the following as their children, I'm confident about
the ones I have names for, the 2 unidentifed males in their
household is speculative at best, we know they were there
in their household on various censuses but Sam's said
Absolom Langston's wife had three sons and seven daughters,
which would mean that one of the males reported in their h/h
wasn't their child, we wonder if it was a son of Samuel that
Absolom took in after Samuel's death, perhaps Ephraim, who
Sam's says was Nancy's cousin.

unidentified male bn 1830 - 1835

Jane bn 1835
married Thomas Robert HIVELY ca 1856

There is more updated info that I have but I'm so well organized (HA)
that I can't find it, this is what I have entered in my program. It is
my
goal to get all of the Langston data entered and finish trying to
complete
missing family members to at least 1920. May be a pipe dream.
