Sue,
I talked to Gloria just this afternoon and she said she had seen you, she
didn't tell me about all the other people that were there. You know I
thought about going to Springcreek yesterday and just put it out of my mind.
I wish I had now. Lucille is uncle Champ's wife right? I always thought a
lot of Uncle Champ. Why do you think she is kin to my grandma Molly? If you
think there is a connection I can find out real easy. I would have loved to
see all those people, I could have been having fun but instead I worked
around this house.
Last time I saw Uncle Champs wife was at the Russell reunion at Springcreek
several years ago. She told me a story about myself and I thought how
country can I be but here it is. She said when I was little girl they came
to our house at Calico and I asked her " if she ever got tired and then said
when I get tired I just set down in that cheer right there".
Did I ever tell you the story about Uncle Clarence and Aunt Hattie going to
town to get groceries on Saturday? If I didn't I will, it is a funny one.
Yes we need to have lunch, let me know when you can and I will arrange it
with Gloria.
Elvada

Hey Elvada,
I was going to write you this evening, I guess we are on the same wavelink.
Guess who I saw yesterday at Springcreek? Gloria came driving up and I
didn't
know who it was until she got out of the car. I was so proud to see her. She
said she would love to have lunch with us. She had her Mom with her and her
Mom's brother. Dean Walker, who is Rudean Russell's (her father, Ernest
Russell) son. Grady Smith (Marie Russell's husband) and last by not least,
Uncle Champ's wife. Her son drove her up from Little Rock. You know he was
there every year until he was 91 or 92 and he died at the age of 94. I think
he was 91, the last time I talked to him and he could still remember my Mom
and told me I looked just like her. I'll never make it!! Ha Is Lucille any
kin to your Molly?
Time to eat, talk to you later,
Sue

Sue,
Even though we have not seen each other since we were children you
certainly
have made a place in my heart from the information we have exchanged and
just the talks over the computer.
Your cousin,
Elvada
