The pictures of the old covered wagons and the wooden stores help put some
of my family in a mental time frame. My Dobbs family moved to that area in
the late 1840's and the McSpaddens a few years later, 1852/53. John I.M.
Dobbs and Mary Ann McSpadden did not marry until 1870 but I am sure they
knew each other most of their lives. Who knows that may be grandpa driving
one of those wagons.
