Hello Everyone, new to the list.

I have a very open ended question for a helpful person.

A distant cousin was reportedly living in Carico Rock in 1940. Her maiden
name was
VIOLA M. CLIFTON (perhaps VIOLET). She was born about 1897 (thus in her
early forties), in Indiana to:
Samuel Grant Clifton and Maggie Powell. This couple was divorced in
1902 and Maggie died in 1906. Samuel Clifton may also have been living in
Arkansas in the 1940's as well. Viola had siblings: Charles T. (b. abt.
1890), Estella (b. abt 1895), and Harold Willie (b. abt. 1900), whereabouts
of all unknown.

This is all I have. I do not know if she married, but assume so. Does
anyone have access to marriage records, or other data that may place her in
Carico Rock at this time?
