Was wondering if there is an Amanda Charlotte Wood(s) in your family?
I am trying to connect Staggs (or Skaggs) and Wood. Amanda born about
1861-7 AR, MO, TN (?). Supposed to be Cherokee in there somewhere.
Amanda and brother Thomas in Calico Rock, AR at least by 1881, perhaps
earlier?
