Jean,

I know ice is Atlanta is a rare occurrence but I do remember one year (Dec
1996, I believe), John and I were flying thru Atlanta and got grounded due
to ice. We spent half the night at the airport until they decided for sure
our little "puddle jumper" wasn't going out....think some of the larger
airplanes did....spent the rest of the night in a motel. Sure wish we'd
known you then! :-)

Good Morning, Junebug.

Atlanta is ICED in! The trees & powerlines are heavy with icicles, and the
roads are all iced over. Enjoy your warmth and stay safe! We had our
breakfast, but all morning what sounds like transformers popping has been
going on, so we won't be terribly surprised if we lose our electricity, as
a number of places around the area have. Not too often you see this our
way.

We have to go rescue our daughter this morning. She went out to dinner
with her four girlfriends & back to one's apt. to celebrate a birthday, but
they all stayed over because of the conditions and now she's stuck. Tried
to tell her it would be good to cancel, but you know youth! :-)

Have a good Lord's Day, June. What's for dinner?
