Hi Mike,

I'm still trying to figure out what WINKLES fit into my family. I don't
know who William HOLLAND's daughter Martha J. married. Am still working on
that. Do know she had two sons, Robert and Harry. Martha Holland Winkle
and Robert Winkle and his wife, Minnie, are buried at Bold Springs Cem. in
McLennan Co, TX.

William HOLLAND b: 1818 in Jackson Co, TN, was married for the fourth time
to Nancy Jane WINKLE b: 1831 in Iredell Co, NC. She had married first to a
Mr. HUGHEY in Paducah KY abt 1850. He died abt 1853. Then after arriving
in AR abt May 1854 with her sister and father, she married John FULBRIGHT.
He died in Nov. 1882. She married William in 1883. Both were residents of
Barren Fork.

Nancy Jane WINKLE had a sister Mary A. WINKLE who married a STROUD. I
thought that was real interesting as we'd already talked about Jeffie
HOLLAND marrying a STROUD and I was trying to figure out a relation there
with my William's family.

I wasn't sure if there was a HOLLAND connection between Henry MOSER, but
that Sudie and Suda thing peaked my interest.

Witnesses of William HOLLAND's (actually it was spelled HOLLEN in these
papers) General Affadavit in his Mexican War Pension File are Jno W. JACOB's
(who signed his own name), William SHELL, and Henry MOSER or MOSIER.
Henry's was spelled two ways in the paper. These papers were sworn to W.K.
ESTES, Clerk Circuit Court, Izard Co, AR, March 19, 1887.

Every little bit of info from you seems to intrique me more and more. They
didn't send the page of Henry's Affadavit, but it says he submitted one.
I'm still trying to get the "Complete File", so maybe when I do, I can find
out if this was your great grandfather for sure.

Thanks for answering all these questions I keep throwing your way. I really
appreciate it. You keep opening more cracks...can't wait for the day I can
finally "see the light"!
