Carol,

You are further than I am on the baking. I bought all the ingredients
today, and will begin on the cookies tomorrow.

Glad that you enjoyed your stew and cornbread. It does sound like an ideal
meal for cold nights. Where is it that you live? We are supposed to get
that really cool weather our way tonight (GA).

Enjoy these memories that you are making with your family. Apple pie
always is a winner!
