Hi Jean,
will keep an eye out for any MAYFIELD'S out there in cyberspace and the good
old fashioned way as well. My "most wanted" is Lafayette 'Lee' REDMAN b
abt1832 NC -- d.1889 IzCo. I think he's buried in the Old Phil. cemetery but
don't know if there's a stone. I haven't found parents or siblings for him
yet. I know he was married 3 or 4 times--all in IzCo. I think, but have
found no mrg. records. I found him in Izard--LaCrosse Twp. in the 1880 Fed.
Census and 1860 (spelled Redmond) but not any earlier, and I haven't found
him in NC at all. Any help awesome...TIA
Casey
