Hi Betty & All,
As I understand it, this particular virus isn't harmful, or at least that's
what I have heard! It just duplicates, over and over.
I just looked up Dr. Soloman's website :
http://www.drsolomon.com/home/home.cfm but, I didn't find anything about
the actual Happy99.exe virus.
You certainly can't have any more dumb questions than I do, when it comes
to all this stuff!
Thank the Lord, I saved the messages from other discussions about this
little Happy99.exe worm! Here's what was said:

>>>This is a very nice utility, in that it not only AUTOMATICALLY
removes all the files that Happy99.exe installs and puts the system
back the way it was before being corrupted, it lets the unfortunate
user view all the his/her emails to which the danged file was attached
and sent on.

it can spread like wildfire if unchecked because it attaches itself to
every email you send and every newsgroup message you post.
"Happy99Cleaner" won't protect you from the virus, but it can get rid
of it if you've been infected. After you clean out your system, you
can check the LISTE.SKA file to see a list of email addresses you have
sent the virus to and start writing those apologies. Get ready to be
happy:

If there are ANY computer literate folks on the list, I am sure we could
use your help!
Has anyone downloaded this program? It appears to be free, and it requires
that you have either Windows 95 or 98, am I correct?
For someone to have listed it on the New Listowners' support list, I would
expect it to be reputable.
