The "D" is correct, according to the marriage book # 1, William D. BLACK;
19..Melbourne, Izard ...TO: HARRIS, TWILLEY, Ruth...17 (15)...Melbourne,
Izard...D/M: 8/23/1889 ..By:
W.E.Ragan, M.G.; Sec. Squire Mayfield

Wilma, Betty McCollum was a part of the team who put these books together,
and is on the list as well. I would presume that the (15)means that
perhaps there was some discrepancy in the age give as 17 vs the real age of
15? Just a thought.

Betty....if you see this, perhaps you could explain what it means?? Thanks!

According to the Book # 2, John "R". RICHARDSON is correct. Working from
old records may have been a challenge....another question for Betty.
