I am so sorry to be delayed in replying to you. I don't have anything
further on Orval. It certainly appears that these might be the same family
as yours. I checked for the Chism name in the 1900 Izard County census and
found these:

In the information above, here's a key to what is listed:

This couple's ages follow the date of birth, their marital status, the
number of years married, their place of birth, their father's place of
birth, their mother's place of birth.
And, beside the mother, the numbers mean that she had seven children in
all, but only six were living at the time of this census.

Unfortunately, I have scraps of information, and not complete histories. I
have no idea how Vera CHISM is related to Ben, sorry!

In the Cemetery book, I found on page 96 the following:
