I am looking for information on a Jonathon Arris. He was born approximately 1809-1817 in England. I believe he was married to a M. (possible Martha) Sketcher. I found a passenger list for a Jonathan Ayres on June 25, 1833 traveling with a Martha from Liverpool England on the La Grange to New York. Also traveling with a 3 year old named Thomas.
If this is my ancestor he ended up in the middle of Michigan, Eaton, Gratiot, Ionia Counties. Any of you Arris experts out their have him in your familes? Ideas where in England he came from?
