My father's name was also John H Garrett. He left my mother about 1933-35 in Texas and went to Arkansas. I finally found where he died and found his grave in Arkansas. He left my mother with four young children ranges in ages from 2 to 8 years old. Her name had been Minnie May Blakeney. They were married in 1922 I think. They married in Brady Texas,
I have the license copy. He was born in Texas in 1887.
His parents were Gilbert M Garrett and Mary A Haney. The death certificate tells me that. Bye, Juanita DaCosta
