Hi everyone,

It seems that down here in Australia, well at least Beverley, Western
Australia, out property taxes (we call them rates) are about the same as
some of you guys. Here in Beverley, which is in the country (Google it and
have a look where we live) we pay $888 a year, that includes $150 for
rubbish removal.
Like you Jeannie, Val and I have often thought about moving here or there.
Back further in the woods or hills, or to another state, maybe Tasmania, but
the truth is we have it pretty good where we are. Thing is, as the old
saying goes, "the grass always looks greener on the other side of the
fence", as we all know, that aint necessarily so!!
This year we will own our home, its a great house that God has blessed us
with, big verandas on three sides set on half and acre. Use to be an acre
but we just subdivided it off so my parents could move behind us. Their
house is nearly finished but poor dad looks as though he only has a matter
of months to live. I guess the blessing out of this all is that we will be
close at hand for mum.
Anyway folks, stay well and be happy with Gods blessing because they are
many if we take the time to look.
