Hey Kellie I think we must be neighbors!
I live close to Lexington too! Cynthiana, north of Lex and south of
Cincinnati. I grew up part of the time in KY and the other part in WV. I
have lived in this area for several years and love it! Wouldn't trade it for
anything in the whole world!
I think what you and your daughter are doing for the dog shelter is a
wonderful thing. That is where we get our pets and I recommend it to
everyone. We stop in pretty regular at our shelter, I can spend a good deal
of time just petting all the dogs! I love them. We adopted a jack russel
and she is wonderful. We were there just yesterday and it was so sad, all
the dogs looked as though they hadn't eaten for days. You know how a dog's
bones will show on their rear. It was terrible, I wanted to bring them all
home, but I cant'.
Hubby would kick my butt!
And Jeanne, I am so glad that your son has recovered so well! That was
wonderful news and it was nice to hear he has such a great roommate! Please
keep us posted on his progress.
